Best of LI: Vincent's

VincentsCLam300.jpg

Conveniently located across the street from Roosevelt Field Mall, this trendy Italian restaurant is the perfect place to rest your feet, eat until you are physically unable and enjoy the soothing Italian-American music after a long day of shopping. A perfect combination of old school Italian and class, Vincent's Clam Bar in Carle Place clearly lives up to the name of the original establishment first opened in Little Italy

If you enjoy baked Clams, this is the place for you! Their tomato sauce, which comes in mild, medium or hot, is delicious and really the foundation for their tasteful dishes. Delicious, fresh-baked bread served together with an olive oil, sun dried tomatoes and rosemary dip is a very simple way to start off your meal. Experience their extremely generous portions including the Chicken Cutlet Parmigana, and I doubt you will be left unsatisfied. Like tiramisu? Hope you have room for finger-licking desserts! In simple words, Vincent's makes my stomach feel like it died and rose to heaven. However, one of the downsides, you'll probably be left singing Mambo Italiano for two weeks straight after such a lovely experience.

In final words, the decor, vibe and service is phenomenal. With fantastic food and reasonable prices in such harsh economic times, can they be beat? Rave about it! Just in case you were interested, visit their website for more information at http://www.vincentsclambar.com

Have you ever been to Vincent's, what's your feedback? Can you possibly be voted "Best" in four different categories? Any other restaurants worth trying, don't hesitate to post a comment.
